Thanks! I myself missed the "post history" feature the most.
I will continue to use google for doing normal searches on this forum to not overload this site.
As a suggestion, maybe there is also another way of speeding up the server.
I can be wrong, but it looks to me that looking for new posts is the most used search feature. So maybe if you change the "New Posts" link in the title bar (of the non-paying members) to
this in stead of
the the current link you can gain a reasonable amount of performance.
The first link(
http://www.bladeforums.com/ shows a cached version(automaticly updated every minute or so) of the newposts feature, so it doesn't stress the server as much as the latter(
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/search.php?do=getnew) that searches again every time you press it. So when you use the first one the only negative effect is that you won't be able to find posts made in about less than a minute, and the titles will be a bit shorter. But the increase in performance should be significant.
edit: I'm not totally sure about this, as I don't know the underlying architecture or search statistics of this forum, but maybe my suggestion can be of some help.
