Search is broken for me

The past couple of weeks I've been unable to use search. I can pull up the Advanced Search screen and use the Standard search, but the results page is always completely blank; it doesn't even load. It isn't isolated to a computer either; I've used several different ones to see if it was a problem with mine, but none of them would work.

It is really aggravating, because I'm used to relying on search, rather than having to dig through forums by hand. Not to mention this is kind of ironic, I can't even search to see if there is a problem with the search.
 
I have gone through the FAQ; should have mentioned that at the start. The section on receiving a blank page is essentially what is happening to me, but I'm still struggling to get it to work. I've gone from broad to fairly specific to ease the server load; eg: searching for "balisong trainer" in Knife Exchange - Individual. I'm still not getting to to work. I'm going to keep trying at it though, but in the meantime, I could use another suggestion or two.
 
Try just trainer. It helps to restrict your search to one forum and to restrict it to titles only.

I performed a search. . . .using "balisong trainer" in Knife Exchange and pulled up 19 threads. Sadly, the 19 threads had "balisong, trainer, and or balisong trainer" in them. :D

Don't feel bad, if you use "knife" as the "key word" and perform a search in Knife Exchange. . . . .you'll draw a blank. Well, at least for me. :D
 
I like to use google for stuff I know BF search can't handle, just add site:www.bladeforums.com to your search

for balisong trainer, I got 1060 results, for "balisong trainer" (w/quotes) I got 28. I find it's easier to refine search terms when you have some results to start with.
