Search is still brokted.

I keep getting "try again in 60 seconds" messages when I search old posts, even when I haven't searched anything in hours. This is the second time I've had this problem. When it happened before, I just cleared my cookies everytime it happened, and I was good to go, but that doesn't even help now. Even when I clear the cookies, I still can't search old posts. Are there any other solutions to this problem?
 
That's a new one. Have you tried hitting Shift + F5 on the results page?
 
What browser are we talking about? Shift-F5 does nothing in Explorer. Control-F5 is a hard refresh in Explorer; that might help....
 
is there something i should know? i'm a gold member and cant use search either. i have also tested with very very specific options
 
Tell us what you searched for and what happened. Have you read the sticky thread?

I've read the sticky thread, but my problem is a bit unique; it has nothing to do with entering keywords, I'm just trying to search my old posts. Every time I do this, I get the "wait 60 seconds" message, even when I haven't searched anything for a while. I've also tried "Shift-F5" and "Control-F5," both of which did nothing.
 
After waiting 60 seconds, does it work?

You do realize that clicking "Find all posts by..." constitutes a search, right?

And that after clicking this it is completely normal to have to wait 60 seconds before doing another search.
 
Ok, I read the sticky! Would someone please tell me how to search for a "Spyderco Q" knife. Tried two *, and nothing.

I've tried waiting the 60 seconds, but it still doesn't work. Maybe it has something to do with my browser settings? That's the only thing I can think of at this point.
