When I type anything into the bladeforums search bar, it immediately starts autopopulating suggested threads that have the same combination of letters, literally as I type, so it is changing on the fly, and causing some lag in the process. I assume it uses bandwidth as well.
I cannot find an option in preferences to turn this off. The autopopulating results window gets in the way and covers the "search first posts" and "thread titles only" check boxes and has to be dismissed before I can click those. It makes using the search function a lot more time consuming than it would be if I could just type what I want click search and be done with it, rather than having to wait for the CPU to catch up to the autopopulating results, then click to close that window, then click search.
I'd love to see a "turn off suggested search results" feature available if possible. Thank you.
