I have been looking for ways to carry My RC-3MIL concelled. I haven't found a "search" function in this forum. Can someone please help me?

Are you asking for help with the search, or help with idea's?

Personally, I think the IWB method would work pretty well, or as a boot blade, since it's not going to be very noticeable due to the size. I've also got a MercHarness on the way, and I'm planning on trying it out with my RC3. I wouldn't carry it as a neck knife, simply due to the fact that it's a little large and heavy for that. Not only would it be really noticeable, but it'd also put a strain on your neck.

Where are you located? One thing to keep in mind is that some states require you to have a concealed weapons permit to carry a knife concealed. It's a good idea to get one even if it's not required. Better safe than sorry, because you never know when your going to run into an officer that want's to make a huge issue out of it.

You might say inspector_miami doesn't have to worry too much about concealed carry laws ;)

Now, overseas may be a different beast.

I agree, I like IWB with the boot clip to carry under a shirt.

....Oh, haha, I think I just figured out why you said that. Does it have something to do with the model name (RC3MIL)? Me stupid... :D

I tried that and I found that it "rides" up kinda high. Only if it was possible to attach the boot clip to the last set of holes. I also tried using the chord to leash it to my belt, but I am not a fan of having it low outside of my shirt. Trying to think of a way to leash it IWB. Tell me about the TEK-LOC that would work for HSOB on the outside. Also would the TEK-LOC be better for Web Gear?

I don't know if that PM answered your questions, but I've seen some people use MerCop's tactical tether for IWB carry. Also, some people use alligator clips for inside the pocket carry (don't know the acronym for that) that allow you to draw the knife without the sheath coming out too. Not sure if it will work for the RC3 or not, but it's a thought....

I believe its called Static Cord. I think in the pocket, boot clip or IWB w/ a rubber strap would be the best.

Sure, I just meant the IWB strap. I took this off of another sheath I had.

Yeah, I've seen that too, but I was talking about those straps you can buy to keep your hat from flying off your head. I think the Static Cord would work much better, but I've seen it both ways. Thanks for mentioning the Cord though, don't know why I forgot about that method.

Edit: Orrey, do you know where you can purchase just those rubber straps? I've been thinking about carrying my RC3 like that, but haven't found the straps yet. I was considering getting a pistol holster that had one and cannibalizing it.....

Inside the waistband works well but you have to angle the sheath about 25 degrees so it doesn't dig in if you were to lean hard or fall.

"Static Cord" is cow-hitched to the belt using a belt loop as a positive stop. The "alligator" clip in the bottom of the cloth pocket is actually something I came up with a few years ago and sent to Fred Perrin and I think he is using it now. It's not really an alligator clip although I guess a heavy duty one would work. I started off using suspender clips. :)

I knew I had seen someone on here use that method! I just assumed they were alligator clips, since they kinda looked similar, but the suspender idea would be better, since the clips are bigger. Now I'll have to see if I've got any old suspenders lying around. :p

Tried the cord through the top two holes of the sheath and attached to belt. Worked good so far. Just trying to figure out what is best.
