Searching for 5" clip blade

Good idea, Fallkniven is bankrupt I was told by my knife supplier!
I still like that S1!

If you can track down a Spyderco Perrin, that may very well be worth considering. Very light, versatile, comfortable, and slices like a razor. Between one of those and a decent SAK, you should be able to conquer the world....or at least a small island....:D

Actually, there are not many knives that come with 5 inch blades. You will find far more choices in the 4 - 4.5 inch range.

A four inch clip point knife that looks interesting is the Knives of Alaska Wolverine. It is made with excellent D2 steel.

I've got a 4" Kershaw Echo & a 6" Timberline Zambezi already..I'm trying to fill in the gap with one more beauty! Lol.
The S1 is $255 CAD!! Dang lotta money for a lil' knife.

It should cost at least $100 less than that. $255 is a rip off. Who charges that much?:barf:

PAh... I would invest into a SOG Hunter REVOLVER with the gut hook and blade on one side, and a full saw blade on the other. You can beat this knife/sheath combo for the price. You can abuse it, and buy five for the $250 the guys were talking about for the Fallkniven... I'm not the biggest fan of the AUS8, but after seeing a good friend's in person, they are awesome, and read the reviews...

There is a SOG rep on here if you can get a hold of him... talk to him, he'll tell you...
