Searching for a Green 7 OT

I swear the first pocket knife given to me from my grandfather was a green handled 7OT. This was the mid 80's. It was a single lock back blade with brass bolsters on each end. I am fairly confident it was not a 5OT that has only the single bolster at the hinge end. I cannot find any pictures anywhere to prove this knife existed but would love to find one and buy it.
Or yall could tell me that I'm crazy enough times to convince me I had a 5OT all along.
Thanks

Could have been a Colonial Coyote which looks very close to the 7OT/LB7. They came in dark green scales as an SFO. Can't remember the company though.

My best guess is that you may have had a Schrade Uncle Henry LB5 Limited Edition Skoal promotional knife. They are shorter than a 7OT at 3.75" instead of 5". I have seen the Skoal knives with oval Schrade shields swapped out for the Skoal shields. Despite the not-so-great picture, it does have a green sawcut handle. Anyone who collects Schrades knows that just about any configuration of knife is possible, but I have never seen a green 7OT. The only other possibility I can think of is if Ducks Unlimited contracted a 7OT for their 'Greenwing' limited editions. I would like to have one to go with my standard and maroon handled ones though.

Saddlebum's suggestion is a good possibility. You should know that the 5OTs came in both brown and green and I suspect that is what you had. The 7OT is huge compared alongside a 5OT.

This is my " Dark Green Bone" LB7. I have seen them with a different etch, and without an etch.
Note: Car #33 was sponsored by SKOAL, and green was used on all Scoal's knives.

Handsome Harry Gant.

Nice knife kgold.

Is that knife badged on the other side?

Also does it have a matching case?

Either case that's the first bone LB7 I've seen.

Very nice. Are you SURE it is bone?

Ok thanks so far. I do not think it was a commemorative edition. Just plain green scales, a brass bolster on each end with a single lock back blade.

Sorry Cal, I have bone on the brain.
I can not find that knife today, and have not seen it for many years.
After you asked, I now think it is Dark Green Wood.
When I first got it, Dale said some-thing about a Buck 110, next thing I know Dale sent me a nice Buck.

FC, the #33 came in a wooden box and the top [in the post] is a "glass fired tile".
When I find it, I will take more photos and post them.

Cal, Dale and I have talked on the phone for two and a half hours - about bone 8OTs.
I think your on the money, Dale is still asking friends that may know a little more... Ken

Thank you, I don't know why I couldn't pull anything up from your first post, sometimes my google-fu is not up to par.
The knife you linked is exactly as I described, I always remembered it as being an Old Timer though, but I do believe you are correct.

The knife @ worthopedia is only 3 inches long. The 7OT/LB7 is MUCH larger. This whole thread seems to be on the appley/orangey side.

I'm an apple kind of guy😁.

Based on the original OP I'm thinking the OP had a LB7 with some scale that reminded him of green or he had a knife that looked exactly like, as he remembers from 30 years ago, an LB7 but really was a clone like what I linked to.

I could be wrong which is usually the case, as the wife says.😑
