Searching for decent budget splitting axe

Afternoon folks,
Wanted to seek the opinion of the pros for a ~$50 splitting axe. One that will hold its edge. Balanced between high HRC and toughness. Decent handle. Don’t care if it’s wood or composite.

If not opting for a Fiskars you might consider the Council 5lb Dayton, which was revamped a while back. Chamfered large poll on it, but (like the Plumb National) isn't hardened.

Appreciate the recs. I understand that 50 isn’t going to cover the buy it for life axe. But this’ll do in a pinch.
