How does one look up a particular member, to search through their posts and threads? Or has this function been terminated?

Left click on their name at the top of their post. For example, click on mycroftt at the top of this post. The drop down menu will contain a list of choices, one of which is to find all posts by me. Of course this only works if you can locate one of their posts. :)

Maybe I will clarify it more. After I log on, and the member I am looking for isn't on line, nor is his/her name on any current threads. Okay now I want to make a seach for this member, what do I do? Or is this function not available?

Click the down arrow next to the search bar. Click advanced search. Type in the username in the appropriate field. Problem solved.

Bufford, (cross post with Spark, sorry)

Click on the Search option...

Click on the words "Advanced Search".... (it's the blue text below the two buttons)

(wait for a new screen to load)

Under the box "Search by User Name" (on the right hand side of the screen), begin to type in the first few letters of the user's name...

...then hit your down arrow on your keyboard.

Find it? No?

Type in a couple more letters...repeat the down arrow trick.

Find it? Yes?

Hit ENTER.

Click on the "Search Now" button.

Hope that helps you.

On the link bar near the top, click on Search ---> Advanced Search
On the right hand column of the advanced search, there is "Search by user name". Unclick "Exact Name" if you are unsure of the spelling of the name.
