Here's some searching hints for those times that Spark turns off searching for us freeloaders.
Go to google.com
Click "Advanced Search"
On the new screen down a bit are two fields for DOMAIN. the first field should default to ONLY. In the second DOMAIN field enter www.bladeforums.com. This makes google only return search hits from BF.
Enter your search in the appropriate fields in the blue bar area and search.
For three character or less searches such as for some knife model numbers, this is more useful than BF's search which won't search on small words. But this is more difficult for searches on posts by certain people, but not too bad.
In some cases where you're looking for a specific phrase, this search is better than BF's.
Good searching without loading BF's servers.
