searching forum

Hi all,

I'm new here and can't figure out how to "search the forum" (such as by subject). Like search the term "stockman".

Anybody help?

You can't search, or you aren't getting results when you put in search terms?

Charliedontsurf, a blank screen means one of your search terms is so common it overloaded search with too many hits -- something like "knife" will do that, no matter what other search terms you add. Please read Sticky: Search Engine FAQs & Tips If you still have a problem after that, let us know about it in detail.

I was looking for Trident knives & specific Busse items in the exchange forums, as I have many times in the past with results dating back as far as a couple of years ago, now no matter what I type in the search, all I get is the internet explore cannot open this page.........I'm pretty sure it is the site & not my computer b/c I don't have this problem with search features on other forums/websites, just here at bladeforums........Help please, I enjoy this place, especially the exchange

Once again,

something like "knife" will do that, no matter what other search terms you add.

If you can't figure out how to choose your search terms to avoid that, post the search terms you're using here and we'll try to help you choose search terms that will work.

Or you can try using google, as explained in the sticky thread.

As I said in my previous post, I have used this certain search subject before without a hitch, now all of a sudden it doesn't work at all regardless of what I put in the search subject.
I 'm not trying to test your nerves or bash the site, I'm just getting nowhere with the search feature, where as there was no problem before the changes were made to the site regarding the use of the search engine by non-paying members.

what Busses are you searching for, I just did a search for 'trident' in the exchange and got 246 results
