searching the forum

I hope someone can help with this. I haven't been using the forum must lately because of time, but today I tried to do a search to do some research on my next HI purchase and it won't allow me to do that. It says that it's not authorized. I have searched before with no problem. I emailed the administrator and received no reply. Is this a new policy or restriced to a gold or premium membership?
