I have a stockman that is a Sears Softgrip, # 94608. I'd like to know who made this and app. when.

Codger_64 suggested it was made by Camillus and should ask here.kn--sears4.jpgkn--sears3.jpgkn--sears2.jpgkn--sears1.jpg

I also have a soft grip but 5" model and I was also told it was a Camillus product. Be patient and someone will be here and verify that your knife was made by Camillus and a time frame. There is no date on the box?

Yes, it is Camillus made.
I can't remember the date, but would guess early 90s.

Thanks so much.

Did they make many Soft Grip knives? What are the handles made from? They work wonderfully!

I want to know - this price tag refers to 1986 or later?

$145.95 in 2014 dollars = $68.38 in 1986 dollars

$145.95 in 1986 dollars = $311.50 in 2014 dollars

I think it is a later price tag.
