Man, gotta be Spring. Looking at various times of the year and what I find myself reaching for my XM...Spring is it.
- Opening bags of soil, fertilizer, grass seed
- Cleaning up around the yard cutting old branches and grasses
- Cutting Rope, string tie downs
- Fishing, Hunting
- ALL of the normal duties that occur the rest of the year on Top of Spring cleaning and outdoor activities.

A while back I thought it might be cool to start a day-in-the-life photo thread of what my EDC XM 18 3.5 encounters on any given day. I quickly realized the photos were a pain in the butt to take because as often as I use it video would be a better media.

+1. I thought about taking some pictures as well but it'd be a lot of work and like you said, video would probably be better. I spend a lot of my time in the industrial design studio/shop at college making prototypes, models etc. and my XM-18 is always my go-to. Opening materials, cutting straps holding bundles of rods or wood together, opening bags of plaster, cutting templates, whittling off slivers of styrene to get the proper fit,etc... this thing does it all! And, since it's my EDC, it gets even more use outside of the shop.
