Snowman asked a great question. Is there a seasonality to sales of CRKs? Pre Christmas? Summer boredom? What have you folks noticed or observed? Thanks, Bart

Tax time, secondary market prices rise a bit and some brisk sales happen.
Summer, prices are up a bit- kids out of school and probably have discretionary funds to spend.
Fall, prices and sales lag- Kids going back to school- last family vacation before winter..Less discretionary funds.
Winter- seems to be some sales, but lags a bit. People trapped indoors do some spending and may pay a little more for hard to find items.
Bottom drops in November. Saving for Christmas..Some buy as Christmas gifts. Seen it both ways though.

My observations..others may see it a bit different.

I would say that CRK's are less affected by season then the market as a whole. I have noticed cycles where prices were high(barely off new) or low for a length of time, but didn't see a relationship to season . This however has seemed to moderate with the start of CRK sales forum on the exchange and major fluctuation are more isolated to individual sales.
They have a good following and don't seem to fall in and out of favor as so many other brands do.

haven't been around long enough to know but I feel like I have seen more variety over the past two months than the prior 3-4

I don’t buy and sell too often, but I always watch the subforum just in case. I think the thing I see is a wave of CGG, UGG, Annuals, and the like. The other wave, is a wave of plain everything. I also see whatever the “new” release is as soon as it’s sold out online, then it’s gone for a short while before coming back.

On a side note, every time I am in fact looking for something in particular, it seems as if it’s “out of wave.” Go figure

Don't forget Blade. I've noticed through the years that as Blade looms a lot of people who normally buy and sell will either just save their money or try to sell off stuff for Blade spending money and then not reinvest it on the sale forum.
