One of my favorite knives. I have one pic saved from a maker that I shall not name, and due to previous dealings with him... will not use. So far, he is the only one that I have seen making a classic Seax.

Anybody else making one of these custom-wise?

Anybody have pics of a custom Seax?

I have one heat treated and ready to finish. Send me an email at the address below if you're interested in having it finished to your specs..

peter florianek, Jake Powning, J. Arthur Loose, and Owen Bush, oh, and Geoff Keyes, Niels Provos, Salem Straub, Phillip Patton, Alan Longmire. I can even make a damn fine seax, myself.

I love mine! An awesome maker who is great to work with (he built me a sword too) I spend a lot of time thinking up future projects because the experience was so good.

I was playing w it today actually, I want to carry it when I ride on weekends, because a 9+" is completely necessary and useful :)

Seax is my favorite design, don't you dare buy the one from Patton, I dream about it, it's real awkward when your wife asks in the morning "who the F is Philip seax?!" I'm waiting for his price and my having money to intersect. :D

Really, contact JT and talk it over with him.

yes, George Ezell makes great seaxes. EDITED TO ADD: I made a mistake in my previous llist, and I was intending to write George Ezell, and I wrote Geoff Keyes instead (we are all active on the same internet site, and I goofed.).

He has made more than probably anyone, and he can make them in a range of styles.

Something I made just cause i like serious period bladed items. Blade material is 3/16 44C the handle is black Ebony. the fittings are 416 and bronze on the front bass on the back as a counter weight. Hope you like it. Ken comments are always appreciated.
