Curiosity, sticky detente/deployment led me to attempt disassembly, even knowing that it would possibly end in a bag of parts. Love my new Lrg. Seb 21 Insingo. Aware of issues. Know all will be made right. I've watched enough videos, but haven't found, yet, any exploded, close up parts diagram with close ups of breaking down/taking apart(like my Glock). All the parts are jumbled and couldn't tell front or back of washer, but I want to master this and not just send it to CRK. Any place to find real close ups? I fully recognize, that someday I'll say, that I can't believe how incredibly simple this all is. But not today.:) Thanks.

I saw this at CRK. This helps, but is there something with the steps broken down even further?

But it doesn't tell me, if the parts are jumbled what is front or back. Also, my 21 didn't come with his lube. Can I use Militec 1, Ballistol, Hoppes, etc.?

Lube can be a matter of preference, but stick with a grease of some sort, at least during assembly. The washers in a 21 don't necessarily have a front and a back. After time, one side will develop concentric marks from the blade swing so it becomes more obvious. Putting the thing back together is more about technique than anything. The 21 is slightly more of a challenge with the bushing. I would watch on of the 'tear down / reassembly' clips on YouTube and pause at each step as the knife is put back together.

Thank you. As always, you're right. It is about developing a technique. I'll get there.

I love this forum, because of kind people like you who share my interest in knives. I know I'm capable of mastering this eventually, and want to make another attempt before throwing in the towel. It's very appreciated that there are people like you on this earth willing to reach out and help. Thank you.

Be patient, you won't have to use force…. If it won't go, stop and look at the photos or video,,,, Sometimes getting the washers right takes a few times,,,

Thank you. I consider this a learning experience. Old dog/ new tricks. Something like that.

Wow, I just posted about this. You seem to have had the same issue I have. I will watch that video, seems like a lubrication thing I need to sort out.

I'm sure you'll sort it out. I finally was able to get it back together. The only issue is there is slight back and forth blade play between 9 and 11. Otherwise, there is Zero blade play. the stickiness has lessoned. Ultmately, I felt i had no business owning this beauty if i couldn't figure out how to assemble/disassemble. Thanks to all of you for your wisdom and kindness.

While I like Ballistol, I do not recomend it for lubricating the pivot area of the Sebenza.
As is was developed as a gun cleaner it will attack copper and therefore the washers.
hope this helps.
