I'm sitting here thinking of all the custom knives that I own and the one that is my edc 95% of the time are my sebs. In fact I just received a new custom folder for fathers day and still I'm sitting here playing with my Lg reg seb! I ask the the ? why and the answer is quite simple. The seb is by far the most the most simple and sophistcated folder made. I have never sent back a seb for any type of problem. Right out of the box they perform perfectly. I bought my first seb in 1997 and since acquired 13 of them. The quality, fit and performance equals any custom folder. In fact I always ask myself the question " if I only could take one knife with me what would it be " and all the time I say to myself it would be my seb! Anyway I wish all of you Dads out there a great fathers day.

I bought my first custom knife last week. I compared it to my seb and I like my seb more. The fit and finish on my seb is better than on the custom knife I bought. I now have reservations about buying anymore customs. CRK is superb. I own a sable, mnandi and small seb and they are all perfect out of the box.

Yeah I agree. I also have a number of nice customs but the Seb gets the most pocket time, it just seems to work well for me.

It is funny, someone asked me this weekend what my favorite knives are. And I DO own some amazing customs, and I gotta say, my Sebbies ARE my favorites. What can I say?

I'm there, too. I've owned my Seb for 6, 7, 8 years now? Can't remember, really. All I can really say for sure is that since the Sebbie came along, everything else has been relegated to storage. The only time I don't have the Sebbie with me these days is if I'm going somewhere that might get flaky about something with a blade, like sports stadiums, and of course, airports.

Then, I leave it in the car, take along a SAK, or pack it in checked baggage.

I don't have any customs (yet), but since I got my first Seb, I have not been able to carry anything else. (except my mnandi):D

I've had my seb for a few months now. It rocks. My only problem is that I have to travel to see my parents in a few weeks and I'm afraid to check it with my luggage. :( How will I get along without my seb while I'm out of town?

Well, I packed the 5 knives in my luggage and locked my suitcase that I got from Blade. Take your Sebbie.
