does anyone have a small regular sebenza for sale??and which do you prefer the classic or the regular?

This is not the appropraite forum to ask that. And you have to have a Gold membership or higher to buy/ sell in BF Knife Exchange section.

Actually, you only need the Gold or higher to sell, anyone can buy.
But this is definitely the wrong place to ask for available knives.

Go to the exchange and post under knives wanted to buy.

They sometimes pop up in the Exchange forum, and you could also try Ebay.

I myself prefer the classic style. I like the different blade shape and the cut out on the handle slab.

yeah but which type do you guys prefer??? classic or regular? is the reg. more awkward to open, i definately prefer its looks. and would you edc a small decorated damascus seb?? or would that only be for show?

The real question is, would YOU EDC a small Decorated Damascus Sebenza? It doesn't matter what anyone else does. They are not you.

If you want a Sebenza, get whatever one you want, they all are made well.

no need to give offence pal, im just asking whether anyone else edcs such expensive folders? sebs are expensive as it is.

I don't think the Rat was giving offense -- he's just telling you the truth. I've got both regular and classic. They are both great. Whether someone likes one more than the other is purely a matter of personal preference.

The same is true about EDCing a Sebbie with a damascus blade. Some people would, and some wouldn't. I don't think whether someone else would or wouldn't EDC one will tell you whether YOU should. To find the answer, just ask yourself, how would I feel if such a knife got scratched or damaged through use (remember CRK will refurbish a Sebenza for a small fee)? Would I be scarred for life if I lost it? Or would you take comfort remembering all the good times you had with it before it got lost? Would I feel good about having it locked in a safe and never used?

Not for nothing, but if you do searches for sebenza, you'll find tons of info and wouldn't need to re-ask your question. You'd find hundreds of posts on sebs and who carries them and who doesn't, etc, etc.

right, cool. so they meant for whatever you want then, not just mainly made as a collecters piece then..so how does he referbish then, does that include buffing out surface scratches?? and yeah,, what do you like about the different thumb cutaway on the classics then?? do you find them less restricting? or do you find the regular to be restricting atall?

i think ive found a seb 4 me. it a small reg, plain with double thumblugs. they had no damascus left.

If you do a search on sebenza, you will find more info than you can stand to read.

As for Regular v.s. Classic, it's a personal choice. There are differing views, I tend to like the regular best. (although I do have a classic or two):D

Just get what you feel comfortable with. I have a LG plain Regular that I EDC and 2 lisa's picks that I don't touch. Sebenzas are great users and collectables. There is a guy on here that has 50+. Get one and you'll see.
