Hey everyone, was wondering if the coloring in the top layer of the handle is subseptible to scatching off? I love the Calvary model and the Night Sky model, but worry that if I carry it a lot, the color may scatch off and just reveal the standard grey titanium underneath.

My wife and I have recently come through a difficult patch in our lives, and she wanted to get me this knife. I have a hard time swallowing the price tag since money is very tight for us, but I know it is a gift that I would cherish forever. Just want to make sure the color will hold out.

yes i believe they will hold

i asked CRK about this, and they replied that the graphics are engraved, not just plain anodize on the handle. thus, it wont disappear. if it does (very very hard), you could send it back to get it reanodized.

I had a night sky, but I kept it in the pocket with key. It got scratched up. My suggestion is if you get one carry it in the pouch.
