How do you take the thumb stud off of a Sebbie ? My Sebbie has seen a lot of actions, and now it's time for the hand rub treatment.

You send it in to CRK! ::::::::::::::

Sebenza Recondition options:
Refurbish handles (sand blast or polish, depending on the model ) $23.00
Polish or retumble blade (depending on the model) and sharpen $23.00
If needed, parts may be replaced - we will discuss relevant costs with you

...otherwise you have to cut a "flathead" type notch into it and just unscrew it..

You pry it out with a pair of pliers. It'll wreck the stud in the process; you won't be able to put it back in. It'll have to go back to CRK for that. I don't know if they'll send one out to you to whack it back in yourself or not; you'll have to ask them.

Good luck, and happy rubbing. ;)

Hopefully Tom Krein will read this and answer. He took mine out when regrinding it and put it back in, no problem at all.
