Sebenza 21 clip tapping

It is more than likely I am over worried about nothing and just being crazy but, in the open position my large sebenza 21 makes a rattling/tapping sound coming from the clip hitting the frame. The clip is as tight as it can go and it hasn't been bent. Has anyone experienced something similar?

You could just bend the clip in a tiny bit more. It sounds like the clip probably got bent out abit at some point.

Take the clip off first then bend it more in the direction that would make it exert more pressure on the knife. Just make sure the part that goes into that little cutout where you screw it into the handle remains unbent.

Go gently and don’t over do it.

Ok I think this worked the clip must have gotten bent near the second retention point. Thanks for the help!

Great! I am glad it worked out for you. You don’t want to bend the clip too far in because then it will push exerting extra pressure on the lockbar making it harder to unlock the knife.

It is kind of a fine balancing act to get it just right.
