I just received my first CRK. I love the robust feel. This might be sacrilege but I looking for a deep carry clip. However I curious how the current clip plays into the design?? Is it there to put pressure on the frame lock? Just wondering how a shorter deep clip that I've found may affect this? Unfortunately I'm sitting in a hotel at the moment so I don't have my 21 with me to really look at it.

Finally, is there a technique to opening with one hand? My thumb is raw from getting it open. Maybe I'm putting unneeded pressure on the current clip??

Congrats on your first CRK! The clip puts a little bit of pressure onto the lock bar, but not enough to make that much of a difference. For a while, CRK made Sebenzas without clips, so a deep carry clip would be fine.

Be sure you're not pressing down on the thumbstud or the lockbar. New Sebenzas take a while to break in. I remember my thumb being raw when I got my 21 Insingo.

Welcome!
What size is your Insingo.
Deep carry clip is fine, it's your knife - enjoy.

Anyone know of a deep carry clip that matches the finish of the Sebenza titanium? The only deep carry clips I've been able to find are shiny. Don't care for that much.

I wish CRK would make / sell their own deep carry clips. I'd gladly pay $50 for one.

Small is nice for EDC.
Removing the clip ( or a smaller replacement) should not be a problem, as CRK offers an inset if you like to carry without.
Opening should be very easy (not so sure how to describe it, sorry).
Could it be that you thumb is raw from the number of openings? ;)
