Sebenza 21 Pocket Clip Removal

Okay so my Sebenza 21 (BHQ) was just delivered along with my leather sheath (pocketknivesheaths) as well as my large clip insert. I have unscrewed the pocket clip screw, but the pocket clip is either an extremely tight fit or it is glued on?

Is there a secret to getting the pocket clip off w/o using pliers or a pry bar?

+1 LOL. I'm in exactly the same boat. Got mine today too with a leather pouch and cannot get the clip off. I'm afraid of damaging something.
 
It is just a tight fit in the pocket. You should be able to take a hold of the end of the clip and lift up, pulling it out.
 
Using a rope not damaged. Pull hard.
