Sebenza 21 Scales?

I've got myself set on a Sebenza 21, but before I buy one I have a question about custom scales. I know it's possible, but since the handle materiel makes up the lock bar, how does it work? For example, if I get G10 scales for my 21, what would the lock bar be made of? Can someone explain this to me (I know it's a stupid question with probably a simple answer, but I don't get it and I can't find the answer).

Thanks!

I haven't seen anyone make g10 scales for the lock-side. When you see Sebenzas or other titanium frame-locks with a different color then normal it is usually achieved through anodizing the titanium. You can get a g10, carbon-fiber, etc. scale made for the show side but not for the lock-side.

As stated above- they only replace the scale side not the lock side- so the mechanics should not be effected if done properly. This is how it is done on all frame lock folders, not just the Sebenza. Liner locks can get both sides modified.
