Hey all.
The lock on my 21 takes a bit of pressure to unlock; not painful but it's definitely the most difficult knife I own to unlock.
I've slightly bent the clip outward to reduce pressure on the lock bar but I don't want to bend it any more for fear it won't hold onto my pocket.
Does the lock smooth out over time and require less pressure to unlock?
Thanks

Get a Medford. By comparison the sebenza will seem easy :D

Seriously though, it is semi-common for ti framelocks to have some stickiness which usually goes away after a bit. Putting pencil lead or sharpie on the lock face can help.

No, there's no lock stick.
It just takes more pressure than I like to push the lock bar over to unlock it.

If your lock doesn't stick then you are good to go. I would rather have a firm lock than a sticky lock. FYI, my Umnumzaan does require more to disengage its lockbar compared to my 21 Sabenza. Probably thats why the Umnumzaan have a overtravel stop.

If it’s brand new outta the box 21, it will get worked in over time. :) Or your thumb gets accustomed to it. ;)

I have a few 21’s that had stiff lockbars. They are a joy to use now. :)
