Do you actually use the knife? Or just for collecting purpose?

It costs over $300, with options, it could go up to $600, $700ish...

I carry and use my Sebenza everyday! Yep use it, that's what it's made for! I have a Large Regular Sebenza that just begs to get used and I reach for it everytime I need my knife.

I do have a few CRK that are in my knife case that were gifts, but yes I will carry them on special days (Father's day, Christmas, 4th of July) as these were when they were given. I will pass these down to my little one when I'm gone.

So yes, get yourself and use it, that's what they are made for. Treat them well and they will serve you a lifetime!

I carry and use a Sebbie everyday. If you browse the exchange daily you'll find that there are some great deals on used Sebenzas. In my experience, users have all the function of new Sebenzas but tend to be much, much cheaper. Get yourself a user and you won't be so hesitant to use it .

I've used all 3 of my small sebenza, each has seen about a year of EDC use.

my small sebenza is my most used folder

really they dont get up to 700 dollars unless you opt for damascus. for a first seb i think plain Ti and S30V is the way to go :D

I collected mine for about 3 weeks before I put it into use. Now its in my pocket every day, and it has nothing to do with the cost. Just the blade shape, the slimness in my pocket, and the weight. Best EDC knife I've owned, and I was very anti sebenza until I took the plunge. So I guess that makes me a convert. Now I've been selling off my other folders since, I just don't need em.

I EDC my sebbies every single day. I think of it as a tool, feels like one too. It is a very great design that is sturdy yet has a blade style that makes it a great slicer and knife for everyday use. The pocket clips on them are also very nice and sit well in the pocket.

I too have been selling off other folders as well as it is the only one I actually use daily.

I just got one myself recently. At first I was afraid to carry it, it being so expensive.

The first scratch is the most heartbreaking.

Now, however, I am certain that it will constantly be in my pocket as my EDC.

I use my large Sebenza quite quite often. I would have a hard time spending $400 on a knife without using it. I collect knives mainly to see which ones I want to keep with the full intention of selling the rest.

I EDC a regular Large Sebenza and LOVE it! I just got in a Large Insigno Sebenza and I am trying to figure out if I prefer the blade design to the classic Sebenza blade. It is such a nice knife!

I walked by George Harrison of Straight River Knives' table at the Tulsa Gun Show for 2 plus years and wouldn't look at a Sebenza even though I knew they had a great reputation. I finally stopped and talked to George and he asked when I was going to hold one. Well, I picked up a very nice used Large Regular Sebenza for a very fair price and I have bought three more Sebenzas since then.
