Sebenza 25 action...

So I just got a Sebenza 25, after owning many 21's... It was used, so I took it apart and cleaned it out, relubed it, and put it back together... Now the action seems significantly tighter than before... I know that you gotta time the pivot just right on these as opposed to the 21's with their bushings, but I can't quite seem to get it. I wonder if there's something I'm missing?

Any help will be appreciated :-)

Well the pivot is user adjustable on the 25. Are you sure you don't need to back it off a little for your desired tension?

I actually figured it out. I had backed the pivot off to the point that it would slide between the two scales. What was binding the action was the body screw. I had tightened that all the way down and I guess it puts some pressure on the action. Backed that off, and everything loosened up. Weird.

Yes, weird is the right word for that design. I am not a huge fan of the idea. Not sure why that design was even put into production. I do like the umnum and 25. Glad you figured it out.
