Sebenza 25 Insingo Flipper. That's not a typo.

Well, let the haters hate. But for those of us who use our knives to cut stuff, you have to admit that this would be a dream.

This is my grail. And this would be the most useful design on the planet, bar none.

I know there are certain things that would need to be tweaked (like how the flipper would hit the stand off if closed). But this is just the gist of it for now.

I'm with you on the Insingo blade shape. Not that sure we need a flipper. I bought my first flipper recently a ZT 0560 and while I enjoy it, not sure I can deploy it any faster than a Sebenza.
Also, if we are dreaming, I want S90V!!

Well bro, for one, it makes easier deployment (especially for those who are use to it), and two, it makes for a better grip.
Downfalls include more pocket space / sometime awkward pocket pull-out, and less room for jabbing into something. But that's a rare event.

that would be perfect!
thought of that before and it's quite curious you thought the same way:)
i would buy one for sure!
thanks for the creativity:)

To each his own...never really understood the flipper thing..

I'm with you on that one, never got into the whole flipper craze.

Fferrell1 have you ever thought about a Hinderer Flipper? I'm not sure about what kind of blade designs they have but I could have swore I saw a picture of one from BLADE and it was an insingo shaped one with a flipper.

Something to check out anyways.

Maybe if you phrased that a bit different... My sebenza cuts everyday, but never wanted it in a flipper. To each their own.

I've always found myself hitting the damn flipper everytime my hand goes into the pocket. Only had a single flipper in my life, annoying enough to be my last.

It's definitely an interesting idea. I will say I use a Sebenza daily, indeed to cut stuff, and have not felt the need for a flipper. I like the way it feels while guiding the thumb lug into lock position and have never needed a knife to be open in two seconds or less...

not knocking your idea by anymeans and if CRK put a product like this into production I could see myself owning one.

I guess it's just not something I've considered ...

I would definitely be interested in a CRK flipper. I like them because they are fun! :D

LOVE IT! I would buy one so quick if they were produced. I would want the steel to be ZDP-189, s30v, or CTS-BD1

The biggest problem I have with threads like this are the people who reply with "AND ADD LIGHTNING STRIKE CF, S90V AND 3V DAMASCUS, A BUILT IN FLASHLIGHT, AND HAND DELIVERY FROM CHRIS."

Your concept is excellent, and I truly believe that CRK would produce the best flipper ever made if they chose to do so. However, people need to realize that concept threads can often disuade manufacturers from considering an idea when you start throwing in steel and material requests that are simply too expensive and too far outside their comfort zone to produce. Keep it simple, guys! That way Chris might actually consider a concept like this.

Yup, you need to get rid of the stop pin in the handle or your flipper won't close, or flip for that matter. That's why one tends to use the thumb stud as the stop. :p:thumbup:

I would strongly lean towards buying one but s35 for a $400 production knife has always been the reason I don't own a CRK.
