I've noticed that on the Sebenza 25 that I own, that the amount of tightening of the frame screws has more effect on the smoothness of the blade to open and close than the pivot screw. I usually loctite the pivot, and crank down the frame screws, but as this causes the knife to be so tight that it is difficult to open and close, I've been just lightly tightening the frame screws, which causes them to eventually loosen themselves.

Is it standard to also loctite the frame screws?

I've only owned two 25's, but did not need to loctite the frame screws on either. I just tightened them down good and tight. Blade smoothness was controlled by the pivot screw tightness.

I would not use loctite on anything but the pivot. I have never had a frame screw come loose on any of my knives as long as they are fully tightened to start with.

When I go back with my 25, I tighten the frame screws, then adjust the pivot screw. I tighten the back first, then the blade stop screw. I get both snug enough that they won't loosen later on.
