Received my first CRK yesterday, I am really impressed with the knife, quality is way beyond my other folders, only thing I found a little off is the milled grooves for the lanyard, it is not really symmetrical, want to get opinion from Seb 25 owners whether this is normal or not, thanks in advance for all comments

Mine are all bilaterally symmetrical in that area...yours is, in my opinion, a quality control issue.

Odd for CRK. I would send it back to the dealer you got it from or send it to CRK for them to fix.

Doesn't look like it would compromise the knife in ANY way, but if it bugs you, they would probably help you out.

It's actually the chamfer on the outside of the scale that is off. :p

Now we are getting picky, that looks to be about one RCH off spec.

I'm with St James, my eyes must be going worse! RCH very precise measurement there! LOL

If it really bugs you then send it back, it is your hard earned dollar being spent. Didn't mean to sound flippant at first, you must have gone over the knife very thoroughly.

I'm as anal/OCD as they come, and I really don't see the problem.

Edit -- OK, now I see it. That wouldn't bug me enough to return it.

Mine is symmetrical, but I must say I didn't know until I just took a look very closely under a bright light.

I've never looked at mine that close. I'll have to remember to check it out, but that might bug me a little. Just knowing my CRK is not like it should would get to me.
