Guys and Gals,
My good buddy Gull Wing and I have been working out the bugs of a Sebenza 25 clip that meets my needs, and my personal perceived issues with the original design. If you have a 25 and it works for your hand that is great. For me, the tip of the stock pocket clip always poked me in the side of the finger when I lay my fingers in the pre-positioned grooves. I dreamt of having a pocket clip, whose tip fell just short of the ridge of the finger groove, the idea being that my fat middle finger could squish out from the edges of the finger groove and not find the tip of the pocket clip there, while my ring finger sat in the crook behind the tip of the clip.
This issue was resolved on the Inkosi with the offset clip (bravo CRK), but I like my ol' 25 well enough, and hey, now it's a piece of CRK history, so I'm going to hang on to it. Gull Wing used his great skills to fab up a very nice bead-blasted Ti clip for me that is nothing short of perfect. (Some pics below). This was not the first clip he made for me. An offset clip to mimic the Inkosi angle was tried and worked pretty well, but I feel this solution is ultimately the better one, and better looking on the 25 too.
I have quite a few hobbies, and some different circles of interest I contribute to, but this community of "knife people" is one of the best ones I've come across, especially the fine folks of the CRK sub-forum. Thanks again Gull Wing for helping a brother out.
FIRST PIC:how the old clip used to 'poke' my finger:
And the solution to the problem:
Works in reverse Hammer-grip too!
