Is the sebenza 25 on the way out to being ( discontinued ) or is it here to stay? I'm so enamored with my 21 that I want to purchase another. I've been looking for a good mnandi elder burl but cannot find one that looks good to me. So I wouldn't mind going after some models that wouldn't always be around. They run around 520 which is a bit steep only because I'm not fond of micarta. I don't even see the option to order them directly from CRKs.

The 25 became the Inkosi
Basically. There are small differences between the two, but probably not enough to favor one significantly over the other (although at the same price I'd just get the inkosi for the small improvements that were made). OP if you look around and are patient there are some dealers that have discounted their 25s. I got one brand new with micarta for $390 just last week, but that dealer has since raised his price back to $520. I love the knife so far.

The Sebenza 25 is no longer being made. As stated earlier, the Inkosi replaced the 25. There were enough made before production stopped that dealers still have them in stock. You'll have to wait about 10+ years before the 25 will have any significant "sought after" crowd. I think even then they won't have the same collectability value as some of the earlier UG's or CCG's.

Check one out (or an Inkosi), especially if you can get one at a discounted price. It's probably my favorite all around CRK.
