Sebenza 25 Serrated

I've never seen a serrated Sebenza 25 for sale, does anyone know if or how I could go about getting one?
 
I do not think they offer them. Best bet is to just call them and see if they have them available but I've never heard of one.

Does anyone know if, in the past, it took a few years after a model release (21, classic, etc.) before they offered a serrated version?
 
My understanding is that serrations can be added to any model of CRK, they just need to be ordered that way.

As I am sure you are aware, serrations are not at the peak of their popularity, and therefore most dealers will not routinely order knives for stock with them.

I'd surmise that a call to CRK during business hours will sort this out quickly, and I would appreciate it if you share your findings (assuming that you call them). Also, please share images of the knife when you get...I Enjoy seeing serrrated CRKs!
 
If what you are saying is true Unit, I will order a serrated Umnumzaan. That would be badass. Serrated Mnandi anyone?

Looking forward to someone digging into this.
 
I actually emailed CRK the other day about this. They offer a large 21 with serrations, but nothing for the 25.
 
Well, that is very interesting. I still think I might call and ask about it (if I can ever recall to do so during their busines hours). It seems like something that would not be terribly difficult to do.

Regardless, there are service providers that could quite easily put serrations on the 25 or the Umnumzaan for anyone serious about it. It is not that difficult to do especially with the various alignment jigs on the market these days.
 
According to the website it's Sebenza 21 Lg&Sm only with serrations.
 
UPDATE, and an admission of wrong.

I called them today and in fact they do not and will not put serrations on an Umnumzaan or a Sebenza 25.

I was surprised, but that happens sometimes.
 
CRK will not sway from what they do. Serrations are only available on the 21 and that is it currently. I begged for a Pacific with No serrations and they would not do that either. Perhaps someday you will see a serrated 25, but dont hold your breath.
