I wouldn't surprise me at all if they were producing parts for the 25 even longer ago than that. They have to have a stock pile of scales, blades and other parts before they even think about putting the knife out for sale.

It looks like yours has an "n" and a 12. Mine has an "A" and a 12. I have no idea what the letters mean.

@ Haze
I kinda figured that was the case it's just crazy to think they have been there that long.

@megnin
Its definitely an A and the letters refer to what time of the year they were made its in one of the stickies. But thanks for letting me know yours also have an A 12 on them.

You get A, B and C to denote which 4 months of the year they were made and the number is the the actual year date eg. 12 is 2012.

I have one of the first 30, and mine doesn't have anything stamped inside the scales.

Not sure what it means ?

With no stamp, I'm just worried down the line about recognition of the knife. If someone with a "first 30", tries to sell it, they'll have to explain that the first 30 didn't have dates.

With all these fakes out now, someone might be a little cautious.

Don't think it would be a problem, but I'm just speculating.

Born Jan 31, and stamped A 12 on both scales. It seems like they had the scale design down a long time before the blades were finished.
