Question: Does the knife come with double thumb stud standard? Are they blue or silver?
 
ok thank you, I was interested in buying the one on the exchange forum but it looks like double silver studs, they do not look blue, weird...
 
Yup double blues are standard. They must have buffed them. IMHO I think the silver looks better anyway.

If you open and close it as much as I do, the blue will eventually wear off. Gives it character ;)

My 25 is the first I have had with blued thumb studs. I agree, in time, the fading on the stud will give it character. Correct me if I'm wrong but when it comes time to send it it for a spa treatment a few years down the road, won't they re-anodize them?
 
You would have to get a correct answer from someone with experience, but my guess is they do. Why make a knife look like new again with the "spa treatment", only to leave the thumbstuds looking left out? Seems it would be part of the package deal.
