Sebenza 31 Lynch Clip Question

A few months ago I bought my first Sebenza (a large 31), and like others have said...I get it.

Today I received a Lynch clip that I purchased used . I love the deep carry, but not quite as svelte in hand.

I have a couple of questions for you guys who have lynch clips for the large 31.

  1. I noticed that the clip only makes contact on the very corner of the handle. Is this normal? It seems like this would put excessive pressure on that tiny spot if I'm doing a hard cut and really gripping the knife.
  2. I also noticed the clip is sort of floating over the handle. So if I tap the bottom of the clip, I can hear the clip tapping the handle. Is this by design, or Should I bend this so that the clip constantly makes contact with the scale?
Attaching photos for reference.

Thanks in advance for the help!

loosen the clip, there should be enough gap to move it over on to the frame more.

I agree the lynch clip makes these knives a bit fat in the ass.

I had a Lynch clip before and the part that makes contact with the CRK Ti was a perfect fit. You might have the small Sebenza clip if that area is smaller than the cavity. There was no way I could bend my Lynch. Lynch has excellent customer service just send them an email with good pictures.

Put the end with the hole in a padded vice and slowly crank down and frequent measure. Problem is if u bend too much, but that can be fixed as well.

I can confirm. I just tried to move the clip over and there is absolutely no play.
It's a great clip, but I'm thinking I'll stick with the stock clip. I just took off the clip and that contact patch is literally not much larger than the tip of a pin.
I'll reach out to lynch to see what they say
