Sebenza 31 or 21

Should I wait to purchase the 31 or just get the 21 now? Will the 21 be worth more down the line? Will the cool factor of the 31 be higher than the 21? I’m conflicted as the changes are so minimal. Does it really matter which one I get?
 
I would get 21 while still easily available. It is the knife the company was built on(more or less) and once gone gone. It likely will slowly be harder to get. You should be able to get the 31 for some time and likely with more offerings.
I don't buy based on what it may or may not be worth in the future.

Personally, I would go with the 21. It's a classic. I'm not a CRK fan, but I always like discontinued models. Actually, much of my collection is discontinued.

It's crazy the longer we do the collecting the more I also look at many models in the collection that are no longer made. They become more special to me if that makes sense?
 
Simplicity and pivot bushing is what makes Sebenza so great.Extra adding ceramic ball on the already perfect knife makes no sense to me but each to his own.I will keep all my 21's and Regulars as perfection of Chris Reeve.Cheers.

For the most part yes. Some of them I love so much I'm sad other people won't get to see how awesome they are.
 
Soooo many people collect Crk knives down the road most will be handed down to family and so on. the collections might fetch a little profit if sold but nothing special. I got some on pre-order but they all will be users . mostly gifts to employees. A 21 or 31 either is good. Think about how life was before the internet and only B and M store s. You only found out. about guns and knives in magazines. Back then stores would only carry maybe 10 of certain items. I would have a hell a lot more money if not for the net lol. Hell have the stuff I got came from the internet and the internet has put a hurting on collectors because of the exposure to things you never knew about before the net.so you got thousands more people finding items otherwise they never knew about. To me it's mind boggling how much I have due to the net .I mean I can order everything I need and never leave the house heck we get groceries delivered ROFL. Damn I rambled. anyway just buy what you want or 2 of each​

If you want cool and value, make sure whatever 'benza you buy is designed and made in the Chris Reeve era and that's not the 31.
