Sebenza Annual Edition, Curious?

Could anyone help me out?
I'm curious about the sebenza annual edition, as say on its web that they will produce 60 pieces of large and 60 pieces of small each year.

For 2010 example, there are 2 type of woods used for annual edition as far as I know, Camphor and Maple. So, there would be 60 pieces of each woods for large and small which make 120 of large and 120 of small or 60 pieces of both woods together which would be 60 of large and 60 of small in total?

Sorry if this might be a silly question to you.

One last question,
how do we know what and how many types of material will be used for each year?

Thanks

60 Spalted Maple (large)
60 Camphor (large)
60 Spalted Maple (small)
60 Camphor (small)

I think.

Regarding to your opinion, as the CR website show samples of the 2003 annual edition of 7 different materials used. Does that mean there were 420 pieces of large and another 420 pieces of small for that year?
If so, this edition is not quite limited!

No, it's 60 total of each size. 30 Camphor and 30 Spalted Maple for 2010. 2003 - 2006 were crazy years with several options, but they have since cut it back to 2 wood types per year.

Seems like 2007 was a good year for mammoth bark on the annuals. After 2007 you see more wood inlays.

Thanks guy
I like the color of that California Buckeye, hope they use it again for 2011.
The ivory would be the most love... if the price is not outrage than the usual annual.

Will they usually announce what will be used for the annual edition each year?

Does anyone recorded or know where can I look for info of all the annual edition each year made?

Back in the day CRK offered a pretty wide variety of inlays, I never did get giraffe bone but they did try to honor requests. I received both ebony and California buckeye to match a cane, as well as redwood to go with a Mnandi.

They usually announce around August what the inlays are for the year. The knives themselves usually start showing up in October.

I thought about collecting annuals once and made this list. It's not complete, so if anyone wants to help finish it out, you're welcome...

What do we have coming for 2011?

Yeah Yeah...I wonder what would it be?
2010 annuals should be a good start for me to collect follow by 2011, as the early years are getting hard to find and the price has gone far far up.

I see the large 1999 selling on ebay with Maple Burl inlaid..! and the price is already $900 at the time I'm posting this.

They make a couple left handed ones each year. I have a complete set of left hand annuals One for each year. Not sure yet what the selections will be this year.
