Id give them a call, dont forget you can also have a polished blade fitted to your knife too. That way you have one of each.

That's true. I wonder what that would cost.
 
I had a knife that had a stone washed blade and then had it polished. It takes a while to polish it to the point where there is a slight mirror finish. But. . . .you'll still be able to see some traces of the stone washing.
 
I have had CRK polish the flats on a stonewashed blade to a satin finish that looks great and provides a nice contrast to the stonewashed hollow grind. Unfortunately the thumbstud needs to be replaced, but it is a good excuse to convert to dual thumbstuds if not done so already.
