Sebenza Blade Question

I bought a large Pheasant tail Sebenza just two weeks ago. I have several sebenzas and other high quality knives and am pretty familiar with S30V. Anyway looking at the blade tonight I saw dozens of very small spots. I took some oil and a cloth to it expecting it would come right off it didn't. Not pitted. Just stained. What is it? What would you suggest? Cut nothing but tape, once.

Need to see a pic of this to know what it might be. Could just be usual imperfections in the blade steel.

I can't post pics, but it is pretty weird. I didn't think they had imperfections in the steel on knives of this cost. Never saw it on any of my others. Still a sweet knife, just not as perfect as I had hoped.
