Well, I don't know if patina is exactly the word I'm looking for.

Anyway, the past couple of weeks I've noticed that my small Classic has collected enough character marks that it's started to look kinda . . . well . . . nice! It has the look of a well used tool. The edges of the scales are just starting to get polished in places, and there are enough marks on the titanium that no one particular mark stands out. They all contribute to a well used look. It's beginning to really have some character.

I like this!!

Yup. It's becoming YOUR knife. Neat huh?

Now......go ahead....flick it. You know you want to. Go ahead.....just once or twice.....what can it hurt? C'mon...you know you wanna.......

I've carried my small for a few weeks now. Only the clip (new style and works great) has a few scratches on it. I will probably freak out when one of the slabs get "bruised" but I have to remember, I got this one to use. Sure works great for cutting apples!

I have had my large "gray turd" for almost a year and a half. Clip scratched, various scratches and marring of the titanium slabs complete with a semi-polished perimeter. Slabs have also taken on a very dark gray color. Smoother now than it has ever been. Time to send it in for a cosmetic make-over? Not hardly

I've only had mine since just before Christmas, so it hasn't gotten any real character yet. I've been carrying it in my rear pocket mostly, sometimes in the cordura sheath CR makes, that sheath made the only "character" mark I've got right now, the inside of the the snap made a scratch on the side near the pivot. But G2 is sending me a sheath for it and soon that'll be my preferred mode of carry.
Hey Dennis, sorry I've not been around for awhile, been busy with work and the holidays and all. You were partially responsible for pushing me into getting one of these, after lusting and drooling on your counter so many times. So, when a trade oppurtunity came around, I jumped on it!
Happy I did.
