Sebenza Carrying Question

I've had my Mnandi about a month...and now I'm looking at small Sebenzas. (Someone said this might happen ;) ) There are many things to like about the Mnandi, and one of them is the ease with which one can move the pocket clip from one side to the other.

Silly Question: I'm right handed but I prefer to carry my knife clipped to the inside of my left front pocket (the rearmost part of the pocket, near the seam). If I carry a right handed small Sebbie in my left front pocket, am I likely to skewer my hand when I reach inside the pocket? That is, is the blade likely to open (forward) from the traction of my hand on the back of the blade?

Thanks, michael

Because of the beveled spine of the blade, I think this is very unlikely. Further, I have had no issues with my Small having a weak detent at all. You shouldn't worry. However, you may want to consider clipping it to the rightmost side of the pocket to be sure.

I carry my large Seb that way, every day, all day. Even on duty. I like having it on my "weak" side as a last ditch self defense weapon (LEO). Also, I am used to having keys and change in my right pocket, and I don't like mixing my Seb in. Anyway, I have never had any problem, nor could I imagine the knife EVER opening. Never even felt it sort of "start" to open. Go for it!
