I recently acquired a new Sebenza 21 with Rhino CGG from KnifeCenter. As I have a large rhino tattooed on me, I thought it fiting to have a knife with the same. I'm nervous to carry it because I don't know how well the color on the graphic will hold up. And if I do carry it and the color fades, will CRK pretty it up at the spa, or is that not a service they offer for that? I've done some searching online and have been unsuccessful. Please help me CRK community!

I'm sure over time you'll see some fading with use. I'd say learn to use the pocket sheath to minimize the scratches. It does help.
It's entirely up to you on how much you carry/use it. You can always get something else and reserve that one for occasional use. I've sent 2 CCG's back for a spa. Both came back looking new. So, yes they should be able to pretty it up. I've also been told it's on a case by case basis, so a phone call would be in order so you can get it straight from the horse's mouth.
The graphic's hold up very well. The Stars and Stripes in my avatar is one they re did.
Use it, by the time it'll need a spa, you may not want to send it in.

I have a plain lefty 21 that's on its way to the spa. That's my daily carry. I've been carrying a small insingo blade CF inlay, but so prefer the large. I'll probably just carry the rhino in the leather sheath until I get the other one back. I've had my other sebby in the pocket every day since I got it. I own 70+ knives, and my Large Sebenza 21s are the greatest in my collection.

I'm also not real hard on them. I fly a desk and my knives open letters, sometimes packaging, rarely food, and serve as a fidget while I run webinars. I don't flick or do it aggressively, I know that's a no-go. I just live the smoothness and the clicks opening and closing.

Keep in mind the coloring you see is the result of a very thin but durable layer of clear titanium oxide. The color is produced through a phenomenon known as constructive and destructive interference from the light rays (also known as wavicles) reflecting off the metal surface. Different thicknesses will produce the appearance of different colors. The thicknesses are roughly in the 100 to 600 nano meter range, which happens to match the wavelengths of the visible light spectrum-- so it's ultra thin.

As others have said, treat it with care but even at that it will wear over time like coatings on smart phone screens.

I have a colorful sebenza and carry it w/o sheath and use it often. The anodized surface of any part of the handle that touches things will wear off. Valleys in the design will not wear as quickly or at all and will remain colored longer. I have customs that are much older and the pretty pink anodized liners are now grey on the edges but pink on the inside. To me, pretty anodized Ti is for safe queens unless you don't mind it wearing away (like me) or are willing to pay a cutler to recolor.

Re-anodizing is not a service that CRK offers according to the current listed service options for spa treatment. Someone recently stated they would not reanodize his TiLock lock bar, which is single color and removable. Even if it was offered, given changes in the company, you cannot depend upon it being offered in the future.

I have carried various CRK CGG / UG for many years and the colors hold up amazingly well. I haven’t EDC’ed the laser graphics, but the ones Lisa’s does, the color lasts literally forever. No need to worry. Use it and enjoy it.
