:p I just ordered a large Classic Sebenza with Black Micarta inlays and the serrated blade from True North Knives. This is a knife I've wanted for a while and decided to pull the trigger on it. It will probably be a Christmas present, I've had a large regular for a few years and based on it, this will be another great knife. I usually buy plain blades but the serrated blade on the Sebenza gives it a little more uniqueness. I'll post pics when I get it, but you can see the factory pics on True North Knives.

Congrat on your new knife. I almost bought the same style as you but it was not available. So I purchased a small sebbie 21 three weeks ago. Today Im ordering the Ummumzaan.

I'm not a huge fan of serrated knives, but CR's approach to serrations is top-notch! Enjoy that new knife!

Here's some pics of the new large Sebenza taken in the North Georgia mountains this weekend. Looks right at home in the woods.

Wow, that's a nice looking knife . After seeing yours, I don't think I would mind getting a similar one but with a plain edge. I had no idea that the serrations were actually on both sides. Nice pics, J.

Muddog,

What a beautiful knife!!

I use my Sebbie a lot for woodworking so I need a plain edged blade, but knives like yours make me wish I had need of the serrated edge.

Use it hard and in good health.

Cheers,
dan :)

hmm, the serrations seem very unique. do you have any close up pics? nice knife by the way.

The CRK serrations are unique in the sense that they are cut the same way on both sides with the edge sharpened at the same angle as the plain edge portion of the blade.
