I am about to pull the trigger on a large Sebenza and would appreciate any input on the differences and benefits of one over the other. TIA.

Thanks a lot, that helps me out. I came up empty in the searches I tried and I was also unaware of the dedicated forum.

I'd say the Classic. The primary benefit is that it will give you greater access to the lockbar. Other than that, and a bit different blade shape, there's really no difference. Having had a few of these, I always liked the Classic better.

Both are excellent and I don't see any major advantage of one over the other. My suggestion to you is to buy the one that you think looks cooler.

How does the CRKT 7903 (S-2) stack up to the Sebenza?
I've heard it was called the "poor man's Sebenza."

I've had a couple of S2's. They're pretty good, but the locking face area is pretty small. Here's my ordering of "Poor Man's Sebenzas"

1) Ritter grip ( Due to blade shape)
2) Buck / Mayo 172
3) Benchmade Alias
4) CRKT S2
