Just a short time ago the plain Sebenza's started to come with polished screws, which I thought added a nice touch to the overall look, plus it gave it more of a custom look.

Well, I got my new clip yesterday in the mail & I thought Id have it match the screws....It only takes some elbow greese time & I think it looks great!

Thought Id post the picture so y'all can see if you'd like to change the look of your own.

Well, It could have been much easier if I had all my tools etc here with me, but I am in the middle of moving so I didnt have much to work with.

I used some scrap sand paper I found left in a drawer, The file from my SpydeRench for the sides of the clip & some Metal Glow paste with a bunch of rubbing while watching TV. It probably only took 1/2 hour total to finish. The bead blast finish comes off very easy.

Great job Keith! Did you also do some polishing to the blade as well? Or am I seeing some kind of reflection in the picture? What grit paper was it and did you do the back side of the clip too? Thanks

RW

The blade is the same as when I got it, its just a bad picture...I just took a quick pic of it out in the yard before the sun set, It does look pretty glossy doesnt it? The clip ended up looking the same as the screws as in polish & shine.
I used the only paper I had, which was 200 grit. I used that very lightly just to speed up removing the bead blast coating. I did most of it just by using the metal glow & an old t-shirt. The inside is the same as the front. The inside of the clip is only lightly coated by the bead blasting so it goes a little faster.
