Sebenza clip question

It was my impression (there I go thinking again!) that the
clip for the large and small regular Sebenza is universal.
In order to edc my small sebbie, wanted to put the clip
from my large reg. sebbie onto the small reg. sebbie.
Only have one clip and it's on the large.

What I find is that the slot is not the same on both knives
that I have. Trying to take the insert from the small and the
clip from the large to swap the two. It's a case of "almost"fit...
but not quite there to make the full fit on the small. The insert
is also short on the large. Biggest problem is the slot on the small
is tighter on the upper section closest to the screw so the sides are
not wide enough from halfway up to the top to fit. Now have to
wonder if I buy a new clip, will I not just see the same issue of the
new clip not fitting the small knife?

Suggestions and info. needed and welcome. Thanks for any help!
My small is a '04-A and my large is a '06-B. Maybe Differences?

Ya know... I had the same problem with two Small Sebbies.

One Regular ('05)
One Classic (BG-42)

I liked the newer version of the clip on the regular more and tried to put it on my Classic but it "almost fit" and didn't seem to tighten right. Definitely a no go.

From what I see they must be different sizes. Gaging from
CRK site it does not seem to differentiate between the 2.
Simple issue to the experienced though these are my 1st
CRK's in hand!

Today I received my new clip for the small Sebenza! CRK
and Heather have been first class to deal with. Very appreciated.

To add to my adventure with the Clip:
My new clip package came labeled as "Small clip and screw". On fitting up to the
small (regular) Sebbie, the clip fits perfectly. The clip from the large regular sebbie did
not fit the small knife correctly. It was close but not fully seating. Nor did the insert from
the small fit correctly (too short) to the large knife!

The new clip was slightly lighter gray in color is the only thing but did not look out of
place or anything. Later I noticed that simply rubbing it with my fingers must place a
light body oil onto the surface giving the clip the same darker gray color. Maybe it removes
slight traces left from the bead blasting processes as well? I had noticed in pics that some
new knives were this lighter gray but did not know why! My preference is this darker shade
that must come with some use. I'm so glad to have my new Clip.

So there you have it. They are NOT the same size. Maybe a dumb post for people who have
experienced Sebenza ownership of multiple knives, but for the newbie it was a learning
curve to share. Now my clip fits snug in my pocket and seats well to clamp down properly.
The large get's it's original clip back so I can rotate the 2! Now a very happy camper!!!
