I noticed that the Sebenza uses a clip differant than what BM and Spyderco and others use. These clips in my opinion are the best types. The seem to grip my pocket well and have that little turned down end.Has anyone had any problems with the Sebenza clip not gripping tight enough or any problems at all? Thanks.

You can adjust the tension on the Sebenza clip by first removing it and then bending it a little bit at the bend just by the mounting screw hole. Take care not to do it too much or you'll have a really tight clip.

I have a Small Sebenza that I bought new. After about one week of light duty the clip started moving from side to side by about an eighth of an inch. I've been meaning to send it back to have them fix it, but I carry it all the time. Now I just carry it (sans clip) in a Gary Graley sheath!

Hello,

At first, the Sebenza clip didn't inspire alot of confidence in me, but after using them for awhile, I can say I've never had an incident of them falling out. About my only complaint with the clip, is that depending on the thickness of edge of your pocket, it can be a little more of a job to return the knife to your pocket. Personally, I would rather have that problem, then one falling out. It's a small clip, but does it's job well.

Take care,
John Johnson

I don't mind my clip, but I do wish Chris would make it bigger.

The clip on my Large Sebenza works just fine. It's rather stiff and holds on tight and I don't have any trouble putting my knife in the waistband. Then again, I have been wearing my benza for some time now, so I could have adapted my technique for 'holstering' the sebenza

I carry a large Sebenza just about every day; it's my user beater knife. The other day I used it at work when a colleague of mine was trying to open something with his fingers and teeth. After using it I was distracted and put it in my back pocket backwards, that's right, clip in pocket, knife outside. After walking around and sitting down many times, for two hours, I reached for my knife and discovered my mistake, it was still there. So in my opinion you should have nothing to worry about

When my small sebenza was a month old, the clip broke and it slipped into my pocket with no warning or prior abuse. I was surprised and shocked. CRK sent me a new one but it scared me enough to start using the sheath. It seemed to hold it securely enough though. Mabe I just had a defective one

I have not had any problems with my clip, although I keep it clipped in a horizontal sheath with a velcro closure(talk about paranoid

)on my belt.
I agree with other comments that the clip would be nicer if it were a bit bigger(read thicker)

I agree with John Johnson, on jeans mostly the clip is stubborn to take hold, like my David Boye Cobalt folder, on the Sebenza it was an easy fix, took it off! made a horizontal sheath and it works great, too bad I can't do that with the Boye, as it is riveted in place.

Paul, glad that's working out for you...

I don't have a solution,

But I admire your problem.
