I plan on starting a sebenza collection.
I currently don't have any but once owned a small wood inlay, so I know the quality.
My question is, does anyone know where I can find either a 9/11 sebenza with the towers that are "ghosts" or a sebenza that has a moon cabocon with stars, mountains, and evergreen trees? I don't know what this one is called. But is was posted a few weeks ago.
Thanks, Jeff

Jeff, You mean one of these???

Someone described one for sale on the other forum that was supposed to look like this one so I posted a pic for him. No responses or notes since 4/24 so I don't know if he sold it or not. He doesn't have an email in his profile either, but he has posted some other very nice CRK ( a killer Mnandi ;) ) Do a search for "Blackend" and you will find the posts.

Good Luck !

Sevenedges. Yes it was my post for sale of me "Midnight Sky" custom Sebenza. However, I feel my version of the pic posted is quite a bit nicer. Mine has many more trees, mountains, and stars. The scene is actually smaller on my knife to show more. Also the pearl cabochon portraying the moon is smaller on mine.

There two blades with my knife. A raindrop(no pun intended Raindrop)pattern stainless Damascus blade and a flat ground BG-42 one. There are many more extras with these blades and this knife. If you are seriously thinking you might want it, drop me an email at espmet@ismi.net.

I haven't been pushing the sale because I've been thinking about keeping it.

I love BG-42 for blade steel and just found a NIB small classic one for $285. Not a bad cost. It should be here early next week. Love that UPS:rolleyes:

It's going to interesting to see how far and fast you take this collection. Email me espmet@ismi.net

Yes, those are the two knives I was thinking of. I am going to sell off some busse blades to raise some cash. the 9-11 model is a little expensive. I'm sure the other one is also. Thanks, guys:D

Holy cow, that is a beautiful knife. I emailed CRK to see if they could do a similar design in silver contrast on mine when I get it.....we'll see. :)
